Paul
Christensen, DPT, OCS, ATC, FAAOMPT
Paul received his Masters degree from the University of Southern
California in 1979 and a Doctorate in physical therapy in 2000.
He is Board Certified as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, an
Athletic Trainer, an Orthopedic Manual Therapist and a Strength
and Conditioning Specialist, and is a Fellow in the American
Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He has taught
courses nationally and internationally regarding rehabilitation
programs using manual therapy and exercise. He has been in private
practice since 1980 and was one of the first sports therapists
in the Bay area.

Dan
Vold, MPT, OCS
Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science
from the University of California at Davis. In 1992, he earned
a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the Mayo Clinic School
of Health Related Sciences. He completed a one year Norwegian
approach orthopedic manual therapy program at the Institute of
Orthopedic Manual Therapy in Boston, MA, in 1993. Dan became
an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2002. He has practiced
physical therapy at OPTM since 1995.

Harold
Benich, MPT, OCS, Certified Pilates Practitioner
Harold graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Physical Therapy from California State University at Fresno in 1992 and
received a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1994. In 1999, he completed
a one year Australian approach orthopedic manual therapy program in Santa
Cruz, CA, with John Seivert PT, GDMT. He became a certified Practitioner
of Pilates for Rehabilitation in 2001. In 2002, Harry was certified as
an Orthopedic Specialist. He has practiced physical therapy at OPTM since
2000.

Luc
Nguyen, DPT
Luc graduated from San Jose State University and received his Bachelor
of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2003. He received his Doctor of Physical
Therapy degree from Chapman University in 2006.

Fabrice
Rockich, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Fabrice received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biodynamics from
the University of California at Berkeley. In 1998, he earned a Doctorate
of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California.
He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and is board
certified as an Orthopedic Specialist. He has worked with athletes of
all skill levels, and has several years experience working with the geriatric
population in home care and outpatient settings. He is certified in Sportsmetrics™,
a scientifically proven program for ACL/knee injury prevention, rehabilitation
and sports performance enhancement. Fabrice has practiced with the OPTM
team since 1998 and is the managing partner of OPTM Physical Therapy
of Saratoga.

Susan
Casner-Kay, PT, MS, OCS, CAE
Susan received her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Stanford University
in 1981. She completed a year long post graduate course in manual therapy
in 1993 and became board certified as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist
in 1994. Susan has practiced physical therapy at OPTM since 1997. In
March of 2007 Susan became a Certified Associate Ergonomist.

Phillip
Edwards, MPT, OCS, ATC
Phil graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor
of Science degree in athletic training in 1994. As a certified athletic
trainer, he worked with many athletes at both the collegiate and professional
levels. In 1998, he received his Masters degree in physical therapy from
the Western University of Health Sciences. Phil most recently completed
a post graduate yearlong course in manual therapy in 2003 and became
an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2005. He is ‘Back to Golf” trained
and runs a rehabilitation & fitness program for golfers of all skill
levels and orthopedic problems.

Reyna
Samalea, DPT
Reyna graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2003. She earned her Doctorate of
Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2006.
During her time at USC, Reyna was on the athletic medicine staff for
the USC football, women’s basketball, soccer, and water polo teams.
She has practiced at OPTM since 2006.

Todd
Rollins, DPT
Todd is a Saratoga native. He received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise
Physiology from CSU Chico in 2005. In 2007, he received his Doctorate
in Physical Therapy from the University of Pacific. His future plans
are to attain board certification status in manual therapy, sports and
orthopedic therapy.

Charlene
Norquist, MPT, OCS, ATC, CSCS
Charlene graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Dance in 1996. While at UC Irvine, she worked as an
athletic trainer with NCAA soccer and volleyball athletes. She also specialized
in injury prevention and rehabilitation with performing artists. She
became certified in athletic training and earned her Masters of Physical
Therapy from Chapman University in 2000 and became an orthopedic certified
specialist in 2004. She has been working in the field of orthopedic rehabilitation
for seven years.
